You phone to make an appointment because you are unwell. It makes all the difference when you are treated with concern by someone who is polite and interested in helping you. This is what you get when calling the North Holmwood surgery. We know that the doctors are busy and have many patients to see, and yet there is no rush and lack of interest. Thank you - the service is much appreciated.

I try not to bother the doctors too much,even though I am nearly 78 years old,I do not find the doctors caring as they used to be,in fact I filled in the form to give an opinion about the way I had been treated in the respect of withdrawal of the dispensing of medicines and it looks as if I have had the brush off,this withdrawal cost me a lot of worry,and,I was never told of procedure or what to do about my medicine,I feel that this has put a great cloud over the trust I have in the practise,I hear nothing about any blood tests,or revisions of medications now,so, I cannot give a good view on the doctors practise now,and,to have my questions used and to be told on looking again on the form,that I cannot make a FORMAL complaint, I was not making an official complaint,just makes my first worry clear,and makes me even more to think the practise.does not care.that is why I would NOT recommend Brockwood to family or friends,It grieves me to say so,as I have been a patient for about 66 years,in fact since the practise was formed or created.A.Gregory.The practise could improve,by keeping at least a bit in touch with their elderly patients,even the ones that try to look after themselves.

I have a complicated list of Long Standing Health Issues. Every Appointment i have, i Have to Re-Explain what is Wrong with me.... As its Normally a Different GP.....I Have to try and Explain it ALL within the 10 minute appointment.. One of my Issues is that Every time i see a Different GP They tell me Something Different.... They All Have Different Opinions???and Contradict each Other ALL i Want is For Someone to Sit Down with me, Explain all My Health Issues ...A.B.C etc and make a HEALTH PLAN with Me That i Can Be Involved in and ALL The GP and Consultants i see there after all Work From This so we are all on the same Page.. Also There Does Not Seem to be Much Communication with the Consultants and GP's I am passed from pillar to post ...The consultants say speak to your Gp and The Gp says No Speak to the Consultant?? I Think there should be a Gp assigned to Patients like me ... Who Knows What is Wrong with you and Understands The Hardships that come with These Health Issues and You Can Get to See every time ....Like Good Old Fashioned GP's These are my Views as a Patient and After a Visit Today, I Left very Deflated and Frustrated
